Well phantom menace has finally reached Australia. It opened with midnight screenings at 350 locations around the country with premier screenings in Sydney and Melbourne. It has already taken at least a million dollars on its first day and has beaten Titanics record. At the Sydney premier screening, patrons were waiting in line for several hours outside the cinema, some were dressed as characters from the film. But at the Sydney screening the film stopped during its first screening and did not resume which resulted in a lot of refunds being given, a lot of patrons mentioned that they were very disappointed in what happened and saying that they will not visit that companies theatres again. This incident was reported around the country on the news broadcasts, the company is tight lipped about what happened up in the bio which dose not supprise me in the least as this was the first company in Australia to do away with projectionists. When I find out what happened I will advise you if no one else dose first. A good web page to find out about cinemas etc in Victoria Australia is at www.vicnet.net.au/~caths thats all for now.
