They are very useful for teaching and understanding the various formats that have been used for presenting motion-pictures. The wall charts are published by the British Kinematograph and Sound Society (BKSTS) in London. They sell the charts via their website: http://www.bksts.com/posters.htm In the United States, the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) imports and sells the charts: http://www.smpte.org/publ/wallcharts.html These wallcharts will "spruce-up" any projection room, and are very useful in explaining the various film formats to new employees and visitors. ------------------ John P.
