Sure missed the Film Handler's Forum. Welcome back! This experience, and my experience with corporate IT servers, shows that servers are not yet 100% reliable, despite backups and redundancy. Having 99% uptime is not good enough. Film-Tech had a few Gigabytes disappear into the etherworld for a few days. Can you image a 20-plex when they lose their Terabyte-sized server on a busy weekend? ------------------ John P. I guess instead of DoS (denial of service) you could call it DoFT (denial of film-tech).------------------ Colin Wiseley Lyric Theatre Blacksburg, VA www.thelyric.com
