I am desperatly seeking a good print of a clock that ran at my home town Drive-in when I was growing up. It had the "MARTIAN VISITOR", "GOODIES MACHINE", "POT-O-GOLD" and many more neat cartoons counting down the minutes. My plans are to find a good copy, remaster it, and reprint it on new 35mm and 16mm stock so it can once again run in the Drive-in. I have an incomplete print of it and it is scorched bad and very poor shape. It can't be used for anything except replacement footage. I will pay TOP DOLLAR for anyone who can find me a print. I will even take an incomplete print in hopes of putting it back together. E-mail me if anyone can help. Thanks, Derek.

Derek, we use intermission clocks at our drive-in and buybrand new prints of 1950's clocks and trailers from Filmack in Chicago. They may not have the clock you are after but the catalogue of still available product is amazing. Our patrons stand and watch in amazement as the hot dog finally jumps into the bun and the voice says "......and now, on with the show"

It adds to the whole nostalgic experience and we have different product from Filmack on all three screens including a reward trailer for speaker theft information, good luck!

Do you still have in-car speakers? Still with tube amps? Or are you using AM or FM broadcast?

OOOPPPs, Sorry Scott.

I sure let this one slip, a friend saw your question so I had better answer it, better late than never!

Coburg Triple Drive-in in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia was originally a single screen all speaker location. In the 1980's it went AM Cine-Fi when twinned. Today it is trippled and has FM but still retains about 300 speakers across all fields. Amps are all solid state and processors are Panastereo. Capacity is 840 cars but it has had over 1000 in on some nights in recent years.
