On another topic, Scott Norwood admitted that he enjoys inspecting film.I do too. Last night, I finished inspecting a 135 minute movie from 1972. It took nearly 5 hours to completely check. Some reels had very few problems, others had lots of old cement splices that pop when flexed even slightly. Using my Marble splicer, I taped over all of the cement splices, and remade ones that were crooked, which, I must say, there were many. Hopefully, all this work will hold on this print for a long time. It ran just fine when I ran it last night on the Holmes. I used to inspect 16mm for TV in the 80's, too. I love it! The Sweedish archive print mentioned on another topic would be a prime candidate for my magic fingers. Bruce
