Kodak's publication "Cinema Notes" featured articles on "The Future of Cinema": http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/newsletters/notes/march2000/ http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/newsletters/notes/june2000/mayson.shtml http://www.kodak.com/US/en/motion/newsletters/notes/june2000/nato.shtml Kodak's business is PICTURES, whether they be traditional film or digital or a "hybrid" of both. For example, Kodak technology was used to digitize many of the films being presented in the Digital Cinema demonstrations, and is widely used for CGI special effects. Today, FILM is still the best and most cost effective way of presenting movies on theatre screens. That may change, and Kodak technology continues to help lead that change when it truly can benefit the movie industry.
