I have a print of the original 'Dracula' and a print of the original 'Mummy' and was curious when they were printed. The year code is XOT, where T = triangle, on both prints. They are on B&W stock, and was just curious how old they were.

Sounds like they're 1996 prints. Since 1995, color print stock from Kodak has the year printed near the symbolic date code, but that may not be true of the B&W stocks; I don't remember offhand.

I believe that Kodak's web site has a date-code chart somewhere. Mine was clipped out of an old issue of Big Reel.

There is one code missing from this film chart. I have a 16mm Kodak print with the date code circle-circle-circle. According to a date chart at another site, this was an alternate code used only in 1948.

1948 is probably correct; it's definitely the only possibility according to the chart that I have.

I do not have a scanner, so the best I can provide is this ASCII version of the date code chart, in case anyone cares.

How amusing. Three separate web sources for the date code, and NONE of them are complete from 1916 through the present!

I'm very sure that 1948 is correct for my film -- that's the year it (Canon City) was released. Ooh ... according to imdb, it was banned in Finland!
