Author Topic: SDDS firmware Steven Gorsky Expert Film Handler Posts: 146 From: Frederick, MD, USA Registered: Sep 2000 posted 07-09-2001 09:31 PM                        I am looking for the latest firmware for the Sony DFP-2000. The decoder currently has version 1.10. I have tried contacting Sony, but they have not responded. Maybe this could be added to the Manuals - misc. programs section with the set-up software. Otherwise 1.10. will do all functions correctly in theatre setups. Posts: 12814 From: Annapolis, MD Registered: Dec 1999 posted 07-12-2001 11:28 AM                     Actually, the Cardinal Changeover board should be used with all of the DFP-D2000 players, regardless of vintage. The C/O board that is REQUIRED to have a DFP-D2000 work with the old internal PCBs is a daughter board...the later units did not have to have the daughterboard inside...the Cardinal board is simply for interfacing the DFP-D2000 to the outside world (all of them).
