I am looking for the latest firmware for the Sony DFP-2000. The decoder currently has version 1.10. I have tried contacting Sony, but they have not responded.

Maybe this could be added to the Manuals - misc. programs section with the set-up software.

Ver. 220T is required for changeover purpose- 2 camera setup.
Otherwise 1.10. will do all functions correctly in theatre setups.
Other version do just include qualitycheck for labs.

Yes, Gordon, they required special hardware (changeover board). The later revision worked with the standard unit.

Actually, the Cardinal Changeover board should be used with all of the DFP-D2000 players, regardless of vintage. The C/O board that is REQUIRED to have a DFP-D2000 work with the old internal PCBs is a daughter board...the later units did not have to have the daughterboard inside...the Cardinal board is simply for interfacing the DFP-D2000 to the outside world (all of them).
