Ok...we have a DTS-6 unit here that fails to go to stereo when it does not read a reconizable timecode....we use ultra-stereo processors. We have determined that the problem is inside the dts unit....We have changed the DTS pulse control board that conects to the ribbon cable and processor and swaped format cards with no luck. Is there anything inside the DTS unit that should be checked or done before we look into replacing the defective card...also just exactly wich card is it that controles these pulse functions. Thank you in advance.

It may not be in the DTS but in the UltraStereo. The time constant of the input trigger on the automation lines requires a longish pulse and the pulse from the DTS is sometimes to short for it

This is the only unit out of the 12 we have in the city that is giving us this problem. When the unit was installed a few years ago it worked fine. Maybe Karen from DTS can help. All units are Conected to ultra stereo processors.

If it is easy, that is this is one in a complex...try swapping the format module on the Ultra stereo unit just to see if the problem moves.
