Can a lense turret be retro fitted onto a Simplex 35?
Thanks.

Yes, I've done over 100 TU-2000 turretts in my shop. However, it requires complete tear down of the head so the front can be machined properly to spec for mounting it.

A good alternative is to do your own Kelmar conversion yourself. Kelmar makes an excellent Turrett retrofit kit for the Simplex Projector that has electric aperature and lens change. Check them out at this link.... http://www.kelmarsystems.com The site is under construction right now but the catalog is on line. I've also done many of these both on the Simplex and Centurys.
