How is the print generated for a movie like the IMAX presentation of Beauty and the Beast? If it is printed from the 35mm original negative, won't you lose resolution when projected on the big screen? If the film is digitized, frame by frame, can it then be recorded directly to 70mm film utilizing the beter resolution of the larger negative? Maybe I just answered my own question ????????

All of the original images were stored digitally. Each of the original scenes were enhanced for large-format presentation and all of the frames were ultimately re-printed.

There is also a new scene in this 10th Anniversary Special Edition of Disney's "Beauty And The Beast."
