We are showing About A Boy, and about half way through, it has what kinda looks like white rain (I immediately assumed neg. dirt) which runs throughout the rest of the film, most noticeable in reel 5. We replaced reel 5 today, and it has the exact same stuff. This is not like normal neg. dirt that I've seen in movies like John Q and others, where it takes up most of the screen. This is a small strip in the slightly left of center part of the frame. Question, is this neg. dirt, and if not, what is it. Also, would replacing the reel (again) maybe get different results, considering the first two had it. FWI print is from Deluxe Toronto (surprisingly).
