Has anyone else had any trouble focusing thier print of "The Tuxedo"? We had a few complaints today all during different shows but everytime we looked at it it was fine??? we had 2 managers and 3 staff people look at it just to make sure and everyone said it was fine? Could it be that some of the scenes are just focused poorly? Was the focus puller taking a nap or something during production? We even re focused the lamp to make sure that we were not hot spotting the print at all? Anyone else have any trouble?

even though i dont think its the equipemt here it is for good measure:
Century SA Projector
XETRON 2000 watt XCN Console
Neumade Neutronic Platter

I am guessing that they had a bad focus puller. Either that or bad directorial decisions.

OR.... that some patrons just do not know the difference between artistic view and focus.

Some directors like to take a shot or two slightly out of focus. It's an art thing.

Maybe sit through this movie and see if you can see what they are complaining about.

probably just poor focus. Lots of prints lately seems to have this
problem. Maybe it's a lab thing.

The print of "The Tuxedo" I saw had no focus issues that I picked up on. The print was pretty much flawless: no lab splices; sharp; good color & contrast.
