I was wondering what some costs would be for installing a projector, running all speaker wires, mounting speakers, and basically get a booth completely set up to run movies?

This would be in a renovated theatre with all equipment provided. The equipment includes Strong projector, sound head and lamp house. Also the sound equipment will be CP500 and QSC amps.

The screen is already up, but all masking equipment needs to be added.

I am looking for just a ruff estimate.

Thanks, Josh

Probably just straight time and labor (including road time, possibly) and make sure he/her is fully qualified to do the job. Since you are "pulling wires", it would be a good idea to get an electrician that knows how to follow instructions from the tech you choose.

However, be prepared - You might need to get permits up the gumpstump.

This being in a renovated theater you may encounter changes in wiring codes and other issues depending on the age of the location. The only way you really can get that rough estimate is by having some people come out and give you the estimates and tell you what is probably going to be involved. Such as permits and any codes that need to be met.

We opened a 5-screen and have a bid out for an 8-screen. It looks like it might cost $5,000 in labor to do an install. So if you figure $20,000 - $50,000 for the equipment tack on another $5,000 per screen for the skilled labor as a rough estimate.
