My lamp is an ushio 16sb in a super lume-x.
I just recently recieved our replacement support collet, i went to install it and found that the diameter of the connector is too small to fit onto the ADAPTER.
I have a spare adapter floating around, so i pulled it apart and found that there is a LOOSE large diameter connector on it!
QUESTION...is it possible to remove the connector from the collet and replace it with the large diameter one...OR...try and order a support collet with a larger diameter, note, we did this and our tech sent us one back the same size as before [Frown]
In the manual it states two sizes, our tech apparently ordered the correct size for our lamp.
I'm hoping to replace it soon as i'm replacing the lamp next month and i dont wish to have to remove it again so soon1

Any replies would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I've had that problem with my Super Lume Xs. I ordered another set of parts from Strong and they fit perfectly. I sent one of my defective parts in to have the size checked (to verify if there was a bad batch) and never heard back though.
