Hi everyone

I need to know some specs about KCS series subwoofers. I'm searching the sensitivity of their subwoofer systems the one driver and two driver (I do not remember the models!)

Can someone help me?

Bye
Antonio

Sorry Antonio,

I can't help you, I don't have any idea about theses Subwoffers, for me KCS is a pure crap !
I'ts sounds really poor, they try to imitate the JBL design but I really dislike the sound.

But If you really want to put these soap-boxes in your auditorium, don't expect too munch of them.
And IMHO dont play frequencys below 50 Hz. I don't trust in the brand name of KCS for cinema applications. I've searchin' the web to find a company in India who sale this kind of equipement, but no one official website of KCS.

It's sounds that KCS is a departement of DAS audio, loudspeakers manufactures for bands and dancings, where the power handling capacity is most important thant the sound quality...

Sorry for this answer, I can't tell you more...

We have done several cinemas with KCS products and never had any complaints with the product.

I do not know about KCS but i do know about DAS Audio. I have used DAS a few times and very impressed, no probs at atll. If KCS is a division of DAS then i'd say they were worth a look.
My opinion only!

Michael and others,

I worked for a multiplex with KCS inside. I don't know if were the auditorium or the eq but the sound was very poor. I was told that KCS in the right room sounds good but my direct experience is negative: harsh and limited high frequency (particularly on three way systems) and poor bass sound (LF, not subwoofers).

Richard,

Thanks for the specs. Are their sensitivity so high? 98dB the single woofer?

DAS: Just for fun, we have a soap product here in Italy called "DASH"... [Wink] [Wink] [thumbsup]

Bye
Antonio

These are published specifications [Wink] DAS is not owned by KCS, just a good customer. There are other arrangements in the industry, such as Beyma suppling Krix and Wassman some of their components.
