Can anyone tell me what I should use to lubricate a friction roller on an Ernemann 8b. Since there is a piece of filt, giving the friction, I donīt want to use oil, right?

Light oil should be used on the felt and shaft, it prevents the felt from flufing and maintains better control of tension. [thumbsup]

The felt should be soaked in take up clutch oil like the silcone ones supplied by cinemecanica
the shaft can be lubed with projector oil

Michael!

Look at your list on page 2!
The above type of post does nothing for you other than add 1 more meaningless post to your total. [puke]
