Has anyone managed to modify the pre-amp card in an Ultra Stereo JS 5/95 to give it a variable slit-loss correction? With the conversion to LED, the top end is excessive to say the least, and these pre-amps have a fixed compensation [Frown]

Any ideas? .... I'm guessing Mark G will know something [Big Grin]

You must have a very old preamp card there. I have not run into this problem as most of the units out here have the later style card in them that have slit loss adjustment. This would be best answered by Clint Koch at USL as to weather your card can be updated or not. I would suggest you e-mail him directly through USL's web site.

Hello Matt,
The older 5/95 preamps are not capable of being modified. However a newer 100 or 200 series preamp will get you what you are looking for.
E-mail me and we can get something in the works. clint@uslinc.com

Thanks Gents ...... I will talk to the owner of the unit and then e-mail you (Clint) if he wants to go down that path.
