Author Topic: JBL Horns Antonio Marcheselli Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1260 From: Florence, Italy Registered: Mar 2000 posted 09-22-2004 03:00 PM                        Hi everyone Yesterday I take away three JBL stage speakers from a closed theater. The horn is divided into two parts and the two parts are connected toghether using screws. I noted in the center channel that between the two parts of the horn has been put silicone sealant part of wich has leaked INTO the horn itself... Why this has been done? Seems that the "gasket" (saw on the pdf) is missing. Should I replace it? Cheap, quick and easy. The gasket is needed for sealing the driver to the horn flare in order to provide the correct loading on the pressure unit's diaphragm.  |  IP: Logged
