The bulb on our L-1000 is flickering on and off during the show. We know it has to be the airflow switch on the intake blower. Problem is: Where is it? Every Lamphouse I've ever worked on had the switch just before the blower. This one is missing. Could it be wired anywhere else? Thanks

This the Xenex "Pup" lamphouse, right? If so, none of the ones I've seen had an airflow sail switch, just a door switch.

Could it be the bulb? An old bulb can definitely do this.

I think an L-1000 is the older Xenex, glass reflector, full size.

I'm not sure if its the "pup", but I've since found out that the flow switch for our model is indeed on the door. Thanks Rick. It seems everytime something goes wrong you answer many of my questions. [Cool]
