I recently saw this on Texas Country Reporter on RFD TV.
A new drive in in Lubbock, TX. called the Stars & Stripes which is a two screen theatre. Several shots inside the booth reveal Strong & Century projection packages. Not certain if the platters are AP or Alpha even though they're silver.

I think drive-in theaters are still popular in that area of the country. Amarillo has a popular one just north of the downtown area. I think that one has four screens.
