This may only affect a certain number of theater which even use rolling stock, but has anyone noticed a contant yellow sratch on the left third of the frame running all the way through the Flat version of the 30-second Discovery Channel ads provided by National Cinemedia?

We received 8 or so such ads and every single one of them has the identical scratch, making me think it was printed this way.

Perhaps these were special release ads meant to run in front of GRINDHOUSE? [Roll Eyes]

Even though I don't use National CineMedia Rolling Stock, but, use Screen Vision Rolling Stock, if I were in your situation, I would contact National CineMedia about this and see what the deal is and if they could send replacements to you. [Smile]

Oh, I did that already and have the replacements on screen. I was mainly wanting to find out how widespread the problem is and perhaps alert folks to the problem who weren't aware of it.

I love damaged ads! This is the perfect excuse to not show them. If the advertising company cannot be bothered to send out non-defective ads, then I see no reason to go to any extraordinary effort to obtain replacements. It's easier just to not show them, and I'm sure that it makes the customers happy.
