Hey folks,
I'm working with a Neutaper splicer that was part of this theater set-up. When I got it, the screw holding the back razor plate in place was broken off. I got a new plate, new screws, new blade holder (the small retangular piece), and new blades.
My questions are this:
Do I adjust the blades, or the L-shaped bracket plate, to get the close trim on the tape? Screwing everything in flush, by the way, doesn't allow the blades to slide down and cut the tape.
Do the blades need to go in facing a certain way, or at a particular angle?
Finally, I have a few of these pieces scrounged from an identical non-working splicer. Are the L-shaped brackets interchangeable (front to back, and vice versa)?
Still trying to get caught up,
Mark
