Need a contact that paints Drive Inn screens. Preferably located in the mountain states but from other areas also ok.

Thanks!

Mark

Hey Mark,

Call Karen Cornwell at the Parma Drive-in (don't have the number) She gets her screen painted almost every other year!

Mark,
I painted mine myself 2 years ago with a rented hydraulic life, a 5 gallon bucket of Sherwin Williams A-100 Flat latex exterior paint, and an 18" wide roller.

Took all day long to do it, and the rented orange lift was almost white by the time I was done. [Eek!]

Can they not paint it themselves??

Phil, I called Karen and she last had her's painted 8 years ago by Carl Harvey from Oregon. Tried his numbers but to no avail. and she thinks he may have retired by now. The customer is too old to do the painting himself... anyone want to come do it?

Mark,

Try Port Wagner's son up in Grangeville I de ho. His son painted the drive in screen up there. Also, he is a "professional" painter.

Randy,

You have solved the problem of what to do with the screen before dark! Great screen advertising idea.

Then as it gets dark . . . .

Actually a screen made from four sided square alumnium tubing with baked white paint on one side and changable strips on three other sides would be unique.... Ads could indeed actually be presented and cycled through back and forth and with a push of a botton the screen would go all white. Perhaps I should patent this...... [thumbsup] . At least you can say you read about it on Film-Tech!

Three sided tubing might have a better chance of actually being able to rotate there Mark. [Smile] I'd hate to see the wind loading on such a beast though. Picking sheet metal off of the hoods of cars is bad enough.

We have some billboards that use triangular strip technology to cycle between three different messages. Probably already patented.
