I was doing a search on Google trying to find out who made this cinema automation and ran across PLCinema Automation . The name suggests that these automations are made from Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC). The company is located in Tel Aviv Isreal.

On a side note: Does anyone know who made the automation in the first link above?

*EDIT* I just found another PLC run automation made by AVE . This was a topic that we discussed in another thread here .

Big Sky showed something like that a few showorst's ago. I am not sure if they ever persued it any further though.

The photo of the sutomation with the DP-70 looks to be no more than a glorified control panel for manual operation.
