HI Everyone, im in need of help again.I have been a projectionists for 5months now.i dont know how to slice films,breakdown films or build prints.i can operate my booth good but there a problems that occur. start with film presention some time the film sound track shows on the screen should i use the mask or move the change formate for picture.i would like to keep my job i can run my booth but i wanna do better and no one wants to help me on my job im trying so hard and everyone else they take their time an help them but not me the managers tell me to move they gotta it. what can i do to improve my projectionists operations...

From your post, you probably need more one-on-one training and/or a visit from a technician.

Why don't you just ask your scheduler to have you trained on building up/breaking down movies? Surely, someone you work with knows how to do that.

It's not really possible to teach this over the internet.

Sorry Brenda, but there is no way you can possibly learn these sort of beginner basics from a discussion thread here. You are going to HAVE to have someone with at least a little bit of knowledge do a minimum of training before you will be able to learn more advanced things over the internet.
