Author Topic: Getting a DTS 6D repaired. Brad Allen Jedi Master Film Handler Posts: 688 From: Evansville, IN, USA Registered: May 2000 posted 07-10-2007 01:24 PM                     DTS 6D that won't power up. It shows a Manufacture date of Nov 1996. Is it possible to still get these repaired? If so, where? They're available at most any computer store. Fry's Electronics is also good. Also: 6D you have a choice of dts factory or Quality Presentations in New York. The nice thing about the Sparkle supply from MCM Electronics is that its high quality and almost identical to the one DTS originally used in the units. Its fan is also ball bearing. MB is a P-3 1ghz, 128mb ram and then there are the three other boards. I have seen 400 watt ATX supplies that are identical in size to the 250 watt. LArger is not really necessary.... the 7000 plus DTS units in service seem happy with the 250 watters.
