Strange problem; Customer has a CP200 and a DA20. If I block / unblock the light on the Cat.700 reader, the analog/digital LED on the DA20's front panel will only revert to analog every 2nd time. Any ideas?

I noticed this also with my CAT-700/DA20/CP55 setup as well.

It will switch, but it takes quite the bit of time after code is lost before system will swing the processor to analog.

Maybe you didn't give enough time to allow the system to do a switch back and forth.

..just guesses now .. - Monte

1. It needs to see xx block errors before it reverts, I forget how many that xx is. So quickly breaking the light beam may cause F on the display briefly, but not enough consecutive block errors to cause a reversion.

2. There is/was a 'reversion accelerator', can't remember the Cat No offhand. Doubt if it's still available. See also FB226
