Author Topic: Neumade NXP-MT MUT is not working Mike Heenan Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1896 From: Scottsdale, AZ, USA Registered: Mar 2000 posted 10-05-2010 05:35 PM                     Our Neumade MUT is on the fritz. I was breaking down a film last week and hit manual stop as a reel was finishing. The MUT quit working after that. The manual stop button has always been a little wonky. When you push it, it'll stop the platter, but sometimes you have to keep pushing it to get the light to turn green. I will press the button and it'll flick back and forth between red and green, but as soon as I turn the speed knob there's a little noise and the light stays red. It then powered up, but it's still doing what it did before, and something is definitely overheating, as a smell emits while it's plugged in.  |  IP: Logged
