Are there any forum members skilled in 70mm in the KC area? Or does any forum member know of someone they can recommend?

Best,

BR

If you can get in touch with the stagehands union in KC, see if they can get in touch with David Glossenger. He was the union projectionist at my (the one I managed) drive-in (the I-70) for years, and he had run 70mm at the Glenwood. He also was the preferred projectionist for the screening room, whenever a movie was being made in town. He is by far the best projectionist I have ever worked with.

Thanks for the tip! I was hoping to track down a projectionist from the Glenwood. That theatre was pretty much the premiere venue in Kansas for many years, and it's sorely missed today!

I did several 70mm set-ups there around 1980-81. Was once an excellent cinema, especially after they got serious about sound. Louis

Maybe this one ought to go in the "Help Wanted" forum?
