Author Topic: QST: DOLBY CAT 699 Digital Soundhead Martin Daian Expert Film Handler Posts: 227 From: Montevideo, Uruguay Registered: Jul 2003 posted 12-11-2010 01:47 PM                    Hello Everybody, any experience in Cat 699 soundheads, are good ones ?, have good rate readance ?, any fails on ? I know that power supply comes separated that this not be very practice like in the Cat 700 but at the working point are similar to the Cat 700 or less ? Also see that the CCD reader with board are in 90 degres to the lens so have a 45 degre mirror or maybe have a Prism?, this will be a problem? Dolby Digital was launched with this soundhead. Unusual bulb, though. Great sound, no issues.
