I have a few CP-200 still in service and theater personel want me to removing one because it is approching 20 years old. I prefer to keep it in use and it has had enough mods to still be of use in this day and age... although it is certainly overkill for running D-Cinema, DTS, one optical in, and pre-show.

What is the best way to feed the output of a DAX 602 into the CP-200?

Would it be through the use of the DTS 6D adaptor board...? OR....

Create a special format for that input using one of the now unused mag inputs so theater personel don't have to switch the cable on the DTS adaptor board? I am not sure of the 1 volt/ 100mv input adjuster structures the gain properly. I am presently going in through the DTS board until decisions are made.

Thanks in advance for any helpful insight... Again, I prefer to keep the 200 in place if at all possible.

It's better to use the JM 11/JM21 method as this way your D-cinema audio only goes thru the B-chain and you don't need to deal with the NR on/off and academy filter issues if you come in thru the mag inputs.

Use the DTS 70 break out board so the default is the external source and when the DTS player kicks in it will be the dts source passing through

Thanks for the tips... I'll order one of those boards on Monday. I am going in that way now... just unpluging the DTS and pluging in the output of the DAX 602...
