Author Topic: Kodak Pageant 250S Projector Problem Justin Schroepfer Film Handler Posts: 8 From: Moorhead, MN USA Registered: Dec 2010 posted 01-03-2011 01:22 PM                     I recently acquired a Kodak Pageant 250S 16mm film projector and upon first inspection it worked great. However, after about 20 to 30 minutes of use, the motor begins to slow down until it comes to a complete stop. As it slows down, it makes a noticeably loud clicking noise and when the motor stops, the clicking becomes a solid tone. Does anybody here know what may be causing this problem? I won't say this is truly common, but there were a number of guys chiming in with this problem on that thread. I'm guessing the motors may be interchangeable with the 126/256 machines which outwardly appear to be a 250s with an older style incandescent lamphouse vs the 250's halogen, but check to be sure.
