DTS/Datasat has been saying for two years that they were "just about" to release new 35mm tags, yet nothing that I've seen apart from some cool YouTube videos and a remarkably unexciting CG cartoon spaceship thing, presumably from a trade show.
I know, I know, 35mm isn't long for this world.
I just wonder if, when a chain converts to digital, they are simply throwing away and DTS, SDDS, and/or Dolby tags they may have laying around. A friend of mine managed to snag a brand new flat Sonic Landscapes on eBay, and gave it to me for Christmas. I hate running it with scope films, but it's better than nothing.
