Can anyone shed some light on how to remove the original 3-blade and replace with 5-blade. The original appears to be machine mounted to the assembly. Any insight would greatly appreciated.

If you're still looking for an answer on this question, I'd suggest posting it on 16mmfilmtalk(dot)com. There are at least two Elmo techs and lots of users who lurk there. Also, for telecine use you really also need a synchronous motor as well for precise speed control. Good luck.
