Can anyone tell me what the jumper is for on a Cat 675A Card?

My Cp500 came up with a error that read 675 failure / J14 and went into bypass. first I swaped the card from the digital slot to see if I could get it working and didn't. Then I noticed that one of the cards had the jumper in a different position. I got optical and non sync to work after moving the jumper on one of the 675A cards to match the other and pulled the other digital cards out. I've orderd a new card but not sure what that jumper is for. I couldn't find info in the manual. Help needed Thanks..

The jumper selects the decoding functions of the ZR38500 processor.
For cinema 6 channel AC3 decoding it should be in the 38000 position (DA20 slot 17 and CP500 slot J19).
For two channel AC3 and PCM to 4 channel prologic decoding and EQ, it should be in the 38001 position (only in slots J12 & J14 of CP500).
The ZR38000 chip was the first sigle chip AC3 processor made by Zoran. The ZR38001 added more features and user programmable functions. The ZR38500 combines both and has a lot of other DSP functions.
