I have two houses that are now exhibiting this issue. The problem seems to be random. I can test it all day long, but when they go to start the show, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The issue is that upon pressing the Start button, the motor and lamp will come on, but the Show Run light doesn't light and none of the other show start functions (douser open, sound switch, lights, masking) occur. Likely not the failsafe (FM-35) since the Presence and Motion lights are lit on it and on the automation. (Not to mention a failsafe input would also shut off the lamp and motor.) Possibly a bad switch or relay, but I'm not sure where to look.

They are still in business and I reccomend you call them. It is likely the computer board has bad relay drivers or possibly the device contaniing the operating program has become corrupt. (EPROMS don't last for ever).

The suggestion was to swap the MPU board with another house. I did that, and we'll keep and eye on it and see how it goes.
