Hi

I have just obtained a Simplex XL Projector.

I wonder if someone could let me know the best oil to use in this projector?

Thanks

Steve

make sure its parafin (wax) free oil like refrigeration oil. (used for HVAC) systems, also wax free turbine oil ISO-32 is good,
I used texaco WF-32 (ISO 32 weight) or chevron refrigeration-32 oil or similar 7-10 SAE / ISO-32 weight clear oil.

Road tar works well in a Simplex. Then they also stop leaking.
