This is my first topic, please don't be too hard.
Attached picture is 35mm frame from Japanese's Samurai movie, which is compressed to a horizontal direction you can see.
Strange thing is that, both side of picture are painted black. The projected image on screen has approximate 1:2.0 aspect ratio, without left and right side blacks.
Do you Know such a scope ?

That is superscope. It had a 2:1 ratio.
