The Henry Ford IMAX Theatre (part of The Henry Ford - America's Greatest History Attraction) has an immediate opening for a full-time assistant IMAX projectionist. We are located in Dearborn, Michigan (a western suburb of Detroit). Our theatre opened on 11-19-99. Our system is GT/PLC, DTAC, equipped with twin 5-deck QTRU reel units, both of which are fully configured for IMAX DMR capability. Pictures of our theatre can be found at www.cinematour.com (search by theatre name, enter our theatre name). We are a high-profile, high-attendance institutional IMAX theatre. We run an aggressive schedule of both IMAX DMR and traditional IMAX film product.
We are seeking an experienced professional who would be willing to relocate to the Detroit-metropolitan area. Salary commensurate with experience. Attractive benefits package. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter and resume, via e-mail, to Ron Bartsch, IMAX Projection Manager at: RonB@TheHenryFord.org
Serious replies only. No phone calls please. All qualified candidates will be contacted in return. Closing date for applications is August 1, 2006.
