Author Topic: Seeking Projection/Tech Position Eric Rice Film Handler Posts: 15 From: Buffalo, MN, USA Registered: Feb 2008 posted 01-05-2009 03:02 PM                        I'm seeking a projection or tech trainee position. I'm 21 years old and was trained in film projection/light equipment maintenance as well as buildup/teardown of prints this summer at a 17 screen theatre. I'm interested in continuing as a projectionist and maybe moving up to a head booth position in the future and have a strong interest in working with IMAX projection as well. I would also like to get into the tech side of the business servicing/maintaining projection equipment. I do not yet know a whole lot about maintaining equipment but am a fast learner and very mechanically/technically inclined and would be open to apprenticing with an established technician. I live 45 minutes west of Minneapolis, MN in the city of Buffalo and am interested in a job in the area or, for the right job, would be willing to relocate to the Charlotte, NC area, as a friend of mine wants me to share a house with him.
