Currently seeking a position as a theater manager, district or area manager, or technical services. I am quite flexible. Thanks in advance for your consideration.
10 years of experience in the exhibition industry Supported multiple locations with mixed 35mm and digital projection systems; managed up to 100 employees in all positions from floor staff to General Manager. Experienced in operation of venues for film festivals and special events; network administration including installation, troubleshooting and support; VOIP platform, digital cinema installations, and Point of Sale roll-outs.
In-Theater Experience Managed locations of 2-12 screens as General Manager. Performed staff scheduling, ordering and inventory. Also conducted hiring, training, staff incentive programs, and terminations. Coordinated in-theater marketing projects and light upkeep of the facilities and equipment. Oversaw weekly print-traffic, film build-ups/break downs, trailer programming/changes, on-screen advertising affidavits, etc.
Home-Office Experience Supported 4 locations providing guidance to General Managers; oversaw staff training and retention programs. Wrote and maintained all company policy, training manuals, etc. Assisted accounting department with design of paperwork systems for theaters, developed incentive packages for managers, etc. Worked with marketing department to provide goals for in-theater marketing projects. Lead multiple training exercises and projects within theaters.
Facility & Technical Experience Supported 23 screens of mixed film equipment providing all maintenance and repair services. Oversaw and assisted all digital cinema readiness projects for 20 screens including network, electrical, sound and automation wiring, installation of upgraded sound systems, silver screens, etc. Managed core team of 4 in all aspects of facility maintenance and repair, hired and supervised contractors for bid jobs, preformed quarterly assessment of building condition, oversaw upkeep and certifications of life-safety systems, monitorization, installation of security systems including CCTV.
Festival Experience 6 Years of experience supporting theater operations during Cinequest, 4 years as lead technician, 35mm specialist, and outdoor venue manager for Santa Rosa International Film Festival.
Applicable training Sony certified for maintenance of SRX-R220 & R320 digital cinema systems NRFSP Food safety manager Current AB1825 trained
