Location: Fountain Valley (Orange/LA County), CA

Moving Image Technologies is looking for an experienced field engineer to be based out of the corporate office in Fountain Valley, CA. Applicant must be experienced in installation, service and support of presentation technologies as they relate to the commercial cinema environment. These technologies include, but are not limited to, Digital Cinema Projectors, Screen Management Systems, Theatre/Library Management Systems, Multi-channel Audio Systems, Related Networks, Automation and Typical Commercial Cinema Peripherals. Travel is required. This position requires self-motivation, organization of large amounts of information in written and electronic form, customer service skills, the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical people, familiarity with remote connectivity and support, familiarity with DLP Cinema projection systems, familiarity with calibrating digital cinema equipment to DCI specifications and availability for education opportunities as technology advances in cinema. Experience in Cinema system design, Atmos/Auro/DTSX sound systems, Audio/Visual systems, Laser projection, Site-wide Automation Programming and Post production are a plus.
