Film-Tech Cinema Systems is expanding our digital cinema network operations center and is seeking full-time and part-time staff. Various shifts are available. The technical operations center is located in the North Dallas area.
The position is primarily responsible for providing technical support for movie theater projection and sound systems to theater employees. Other responsibilities include:
- Respond to and resolve alerts detected by automated monitoring system.
- Document service cases and update cases as they progress.
- Analyze and troubleshoot problems using critical thinking and assessment.
- Communicate details and relay step-by-step technical guidance in clear and simple terms to non-technical theater staff.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor with other staff, clients, and support partners.
- Escalate cases to Film-Tech’s staff of field service technicians, ensuring detailed communication throughout the process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of projection and sound equipment.
- Assist with general office work, which may include shipping, lifting, organizing and cleaning.
Qualified candidates should possess the following skills and experience:- 3 years of work experience in a movie theatre, with at least 1 year in either management, projection, or technical service. Applicants with an equivalent level of experience and education will also be considered.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have basic knowledge of computer networking and network configuration.
