Author Topic: The ending of "The Sunshine Boys" Michael Brown Phenomenal Film Handler Posts: 1522 From: Bradford, England Registered: May 2001 posted 03-02-2004 08:16 PM                     It's a rather good Walter Matthau film from the 70s. I've tried to watch it a couple of times when it's been on TV but they always put it on at 2am and I fall asleep. Once out of the hospital, Matthau thinks that George is coming to apologize and they end up sorta getting along and Matthau's nephew offer him to either move in with him and his wife or to the old actors home, he chooses the old actors home. During Georges visit Matthau learns that George is also going to move to the old actors home cause his daughter is going to have another baby and they need his room. I just watched a print of this.
