Is field-sequential 3D with active glasses still the best way to display 3D material on video displays? Does it work with DLP and/or LCD projection systems, or does it only work properly with CRTs? What about LCD and/or plasma displays?

If there is a better method for displaying 3D material on telelvison sets, what is it? Are there any commercial releases available?

TI has been boasting about 3D for the home on DLP so I would presume that DLP and other digital displays with a fast enough refresh can do it.
