Hi Guys,
I was smitten by the Baraka Blu Ray so I decided to pick up the older Ron Fricke film.

Its a good movie but not as great as Baraka, the one we will always use as a reference.

The movie is 40 minutes long and does contain some magnificent scenes, however the stunning detail is missing. I am not sure what camera or film Ron used in his film, somewhere i read it was originally filmed for IMax.

All in all, its a nice addition to my collection. I purchased it from Amazon for under 20 dollars.

Ron has built his own cameras over the years... Chrono's camera utilized a "chain" type film pulldown.
