Do you mean "will not" or "hasn't been announced one way or the other"?

I have been told the terms for STAR WARS in IMAX could not be worked out. So Warner Bros. is releasing BATMAN BEGINS in IMAX day and date in it's place. The only trailers that I have received is one for Charlie/Factory. As in 35mm, IMAX will be showing the ICE AGE short also.

Hmm. Pity.

WB does seem to be leading the charge with IMAX DMR releases. Good info. That narrows down my Star Wars theater search a bit! [Big Grin]

Thanks!

Well, to clarify, Batman is day and date with its OWN release, June 17. The 20th Century Fox release of Star Wars would have been May, so I wouldn't say that it's "in its place". We're looking at Robots' business to stretch through May now, which is hardly going to happen. What, if anything, we'll actually get in Star Wars' place ... who knows? Possibly James Cameron's Aliens of the Deep.

Our Robots will open with the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory trailer (it looks identical to the 35mm version, but with the tag "IMAX is the Golden Ticket" at the end), as it shipped with the print. I believe we're supposed to be receiving a Batman Begins trailer soon, but it won't be possible to program it immediately; especially not by this weekend.
