Hello,

does anybody know if there is a way to script the retrieval of certain information from a Barco projector?

I would like to find a way to retrieve information from all my projectors at the same time.

For an example: click on a button and get all the ages of the xenon lamps. I would prefer not to pass by the communicator software. And yes all my projectors are in the same network.

Thanks for the feedback.

Any way of getting some more information? This is a little vague to start with (started with google and got lots of email settings).

Thanks.

You should consult the manufacturer directly - and/or your integartor.

I mean Barco can support SNMP, but this is a optional function that need to be activated (and most of the time, payed I guess... ).

You can also talk to the projector using the Barco API (the same one Barco Communicator is using), but this is a CONFIDENTIAL document - to have it, you should ask to Barco.

Meanwhile, you can still use a http (TCP/80) connexion to the barco to grab some basic information if needed.

Hope this'll help [Wink]

I've been looking at a variety of SNMP tools to retreive Lamp/Filter Hours from projectors. There are many that allow you to import the MIB data from the projector and even retreive the information one projector at a time. Does anyone know of a good tool that could execute a series of GET commands and save the output into something human readable? I'd also be good with CSV so that it could be imported into an excel sheet. It'd be a real bonus if it could be scheduled and e-mail the results. Finally, I'd like it to work within Windows as I don't have any linux machines on the projector networks in question. Thanks.
