Author Topic: Christie LX35 projector lamp Dan Milius Film Handler Posts: 2 From: Vilnius, Vilnius, Lithuania Registered: Dec 2011 posted 12-10-2011 11:03 AM                     A year ago I purchased a used Christie LX35. It was in excelent condition with lamp counter showing 600 hours. At about 800 I noticed that projection is a bit dark. The whole thing was slowly progressing and now at 840 hours it got even more dark and watching is unpleasant even in very dark room. There are no warning signs or anything else that could indicate a problem. Is it really a lamp I should replace or there are some other parts (like mirrors or smth) which could cause this problem?  |  IP: Logged Monte L Fullmer Film God Posts: 8367 From: Nampa, Idaho, USA Registered: Nov 2004 posted 12-10-2011 01:40 PM                     It's quite common for the mercury lamp inside the lamp module to gradually fade when age gets on them ...
